Privacy at Rust Wipe Tracker
Nothing here asks who you are. No login, no cookie set by us, no trackers following you between sites.
Details kept on our side
The site has no user accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into. Our web server writes standard access logs for each visit: IP address, the page requested and the browser you used. We hold these briefly, only long enough to keep the site running and to see which pages are being read.
Settings kept in your browser
If you switch between the light and dark theme, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Cloudflare in front of the site
Requests to rustwipetracker.org go through Cloudflare, which serves and shields the site. Cloudflare handles your IP address while doing that, and it may drop its own security cookie when it checks whether a visitor is a bot. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours, and we do not control it.
Fonts and flags
Our fonts are delivered from this site. The one file that loads elsewhere is the set of country flags on the force wipe page, which comes from jsDelivr, a public code and font host. Fetching that file means jsDelivr receives your IP address and browser details. No Google service is in use anywhere on the site.
Cookies, analytics and adverts
We issue no cookies of our own. There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracker. We build no visitor profile and we do not sell or pass on visitor information, because we keep none to pass on.
Server information
The server names, populations, settings, descriptions and images on the site come from what each Rust server makes public on the server list and returns to direct queries. None of that concerns individual players: a population figure is a total, not a roster of names.
