Q01When is the next Rust force wipe?

The force wipe lands on the first Thursday of every month, when Facepunch pushes the game update, at 19:00 UK time and 18:00 UTC. Every server wipes with it, so a fresh map is due for all of them at that moment. The countdown at the top of this page gives the time left in both clocks.

Q02How often do Rust servers wipe between force wipes?

It varies by server. Some run weekly, some biweekly and some monthly only, and each sets its own day and hour. The heatmap and the weekly, biweekly and monthly counts above show what the servers we track actually do. Check a server's own schedule before you plan a fresh start.

Q03How does Rust Wipe Tracker know a server has wiped?

We read each server's published wipe schedule and watch its live data, refreshed every five minutes. When the population and map reset line up with the schedule, the wipe is logged. The source for every schedule is named, and we do not guess a time or a number.
