Terms of use

These terms cover your use of rustwipetracker.org. Read them before you rely on a wipe time or a population figure.

Where the data comes from

Server details on Rust Wipe Tracker are read from Steam's public Rust server list and from the servers themselves. The refresh runs every five minutes. A server can report a wipe late, carry a misleading name or show a player count that has already moved on. Check the schedule source named on the page before you plan around it, and treat every figure as a snapshot.

Paying for nothing

Browsing, comparing and checking counts is free. There is no account to create and no charge. Ask before you scrape: heavy automated requests slow the site down for players on slower connections. For a copy of the data, write to hello@rustwipetracker.org and we will discuss it.

Bots and crawlers

Search engines, bots and AI crawlers may index the site. Read robots.txt and llms.txt first; they set out what is where. Keep your request rate low enough that normal visitors still get quick page loads.

If you run a server

A server is listed because Steam's public list includes it. The name, tags, wipe times and slot count on its page come from what the server publishes, so update them at the server rather than asking us. Most changes appear within five minutes.

Independence

Rust Wipe Tracker is not connected to Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

Questions

Q01Can I reuse data from Rust Wipe Tracker?

Email hello@rustwipetracker.org with what you need and we will talk it through. The site's figures are read from public server lists and can change every five minutes, so a copied number may already be out of date.

Q02Does Rust Wipe Tracker guarantee its wipe times are right?

No. Wipe times are read from what each server publishes and can be reported late or wrongly. Each schedule names its source; check that before you count on a time. Live counts refresh every five minutes but still lag behind the server.

Q03Do I need an account or a payment to use the site?

Neither. You can browse servers, schedules and counts freely. Just avoid firing rapid automated requests at pages, as that slows things down for other players.
