Every server here sits in Rust's own Official tab, run by Facepunch or a partner network. Settings stay close to vanilla and rules are standard, so the choice usually comes down to region, queue and wipe day. The list is live and refreshed every five minutes; a server drops off while it is offline. 246 are showing now in 2026.
Check the Next wipe estimate before the tags. Published schedules say monthly for most of these, but the actual rhythm differs: the commonly used days are Thursday, Monday and Friday, on a one or two week turn. The estimate follows what the server has really been doing, so treat it as the delivery slot and the published schedule as the label on the box. Population tells you the other half of the story: the biggest servers queue on wipe day, and most of those players sit in Europe, so the queues build in the European evening.

Questions
Q01Do official Rust servers run vanilla settings?
Nearly all carry the vanilla tag, and where a gather rate is not listed, 1x is the safe assumption. A small handful are tagged modded, and that is visible in the Tags column. The label describes who runs the server and where it sits, not a guarantee that nothing has been changed.
Q02How is official different from community?
An official server is run by Facepunch or an approved partner network. A community server is run by anyone else and is neither of those, whatever its settings. In practice the difference you feel is queue size, wipe regularity and who handles reports.
Q03When is the next wipe on these servers?
Facepunch's force wipe resets every map on the first Thursday of the month at 19:00 UK time, 18:00 UTC. Each server also follows its own schedule, and the table gives a next wipe estimate for each one based on its recent record. Read the estimate in UK time and UTC together, and check it again nearer the day.
Q04Why is there a queue on the popular official servers?
They are in the game's Official tab, so they collect the most passing traffic, and their wipe times are well known to regulars. Some hold several hundred slots and still queue at the start of a fresh map. Either connect the moment the server comes back, or pick another partner server with the same wipe day and room to spare.
More about these servers
Team size is the setting people miss. Rust's default is eight, and most official servers leave it there, so a blank Group column means bring your full team. A few cap it at three or four, which changes a solo or duo night completely. Those are shown in the column.
If you want to narrow further by region, group size or wipe day rather than sorting this table, the full server list has the filters. Community servers that keep it just as plain are ranked on the vanilla list, and the force wipe page covers the month's reset that hits every server at once.
