These servers run Rust as Facepunch ships it: normal gather rates, no kits, no gameplay plugins. A server is listed here only if it carries the vanilla tag and is not tagged modded. Official and community servers both qualify.
The table is live and refreshed every five minutes. Status and the next wipe sit in the row, so you can see which maps are fresh now and which are still out for delivery. Times are shown in UK time and UTC.
What the columns tell you. Status says whether a server has just wiped, is wiping soon or is running an older map. Next wipe is the time the server publishes, not a prediction, and the source of that schedule is named on each server's page. Last wipe shows how old the current map is.
The force wipe overrides everything. Every server wipes at the monthly force wipe whatever its own schedule says. Check when the next force wipe lands before you plan a fresh start; the date comes from Facepunch, not from the server owners.
Population moves with the clock. A European vanilla server fills in the European evening, which is not your evening if you play elsewhere. Sort by population to see what is busy right now, then read the population history on a server page before you commit to a base.

Questions
Q01What makes a Rust server vanilla?
It runs the game unchanged: 1x gather, no kits, no plugins that alter gameplay. This page only includes servers that publish the vanilla tag and are not also tagged modded, so a vanilla-tagged 2x server does not appear. Facepunch treats a changed gather rate as modded.
Q02Do these servers wipe on the same day every week?
No. Each owner sets their own schedule, and the Next wipe column shows what each one publishes, with the source named on its server page. The monthly force wipe applies to all of them regardless, so the map will reset then even if the published rhythm says otherwise.
Q03How fresh is the population data on this table?
Server data is fetched every five minutes, so population and status are close to live but not instant. A server can drop or fill between refreshes. For a trend rather than a snapshot, open a server page and look at its population history.
Q04Can I find a vanilla server with a small team limit?
Yes, but most vanilla servers leave Facepunch's default limit of 8 in place. A minority set solo, duo or trio limits, and those servers show the lower cap on their row. Filter by group size to narrow the list before you open individual servers.
More about these servers
Sorting by population is not the same as ranking. This table is busiest first as it stands, but a server that fills for one evening after a wipe can look bigger than a quieter server that holds a steady crowd all week. The history chart on each server page is the fairer comparison.
Vanilla also means the default team limit, usually 8 players. If you want smaller fights, filter by group size rather than rate; nothing here can change a server's team cap but the owner can. For a faster pace, 1.5x servers and double-rate servers are the next step up, and neither belongs on this list because both count as modded by Facepunch's definition.
If you only care about what is fresh, the just wiped list is shorter and nearer to the thing you want.
